Your Festival Guide
The 2008 Green Foods Festival is being held in two historic locations and features the following:
 
  MT. MORRIS PARK (Outdoors) 124th & Fifth Avenue
 
  Mt. Morris Park (also known as Marcus Garvey Park) will offer you an exotic and delicious display of greens, fruits – mangoes, oranges, pears apples and delicious display of green vegetables, fruits, herbs, spices and more!. Our vendors will have a selection of cooked, steamed and sautéed foodfare from India, China, Latin America and the Caribbean for you to choose.

 Interested in  knowing about Raw Foods?   We have that too! Several of our raw food (uncooked) Exhibitors will be on hand for you to taste their nutritionally-packed, mouthwatering dishes that are simple and easy to prepare.

 Natural Bodycare products and products for the home will also be available for your  
 shopping pleasure. Our Fitness Room will feature Tai-Chi, Yoga, Aikido and Stretch   demonstrations by Masters in these Arts as well as traditional movement exercise.

 Local health nonprofits will be on hand along with neighboring food coops, CSA’s and local    farmers to provide information and accessibility to organic produce.

 The Book Café will feature a selection of health books related to green foods,natural    healing remedies, juicing, healthy living and eating promoting overall good health.

  Our Children’s Planet Veg will educate children on the importance of making healthy food     choices and including exercise in school and at home for better health.

  At the historic NATIONAL BLACK THEATER located down the block from Mt. Morris Park, you will get to meet health practitioners specializing in body work, massage therapy, wholistic dentistry, Naturopathy, colon therapy, therapeutic oils and more! Our natural health vendors and exhibitors are here to support living a healthier lifestyle. Natural Cooking Schools will be on hand to present their programs teaching the benefits, cooking methods and nutritional healing of health-supportive cuisine.
